This last week I discovered a shoot I did for Tarleton State University was used for the cover of the first issue of their magazine.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever posted the final photos from that shoot, but the cover shot was actually a last minute idea we decided to try. I was there teaching a photography workshop as part of this shoot. We decided to try for a shot where the grapes were in the foreground lit separately from the subjects in the back. The setup shot is quite funny with one assistant dangling the grapes in front of the lens, one assistant holding a flash on the grapes and another holding a light on the professor in the back.
